Past work and partnerships
Some of the places Roxy and Fred have planted and looked after, around Rancho Santa Fe and down the coast in La Jolla. For the work itself, the services pages show more photos.
Paseo, Rancho Santa Fe village
When the longtime village eatery became Paseo, Roxy refreshed the patio landscaping around the new banquettes, using the historic pots already on site.

Roxy took over some of the plantings around the village, replacing cacti and agaves with white iceberg roses, grevillea and California sages.

Five lots on four acres, and long-time clients of Roxy's. They love color, so the beds around the main house, the tennis court and the casitas get 350 new flats every four months: a celebration of arrival. Roxy hosted the Virginia Robinson Gardens Fellows here on their Rancho Santa Fe garden tour.

An oceanfront historic home. Tree roots had cracked the brick stairs, so Roxy's team removed and shaved the roots, leveled the ground and relaid the stairs in new brick. The original hardscape was kept, and new pavers were set to match the old brick. The team also gave the garden its specialty care: roses, plumerias, hydrangeas and camellias.

A Lilian Rice courtyard
A courtyard at a home designed by Lilian Rice, the architect behind much of Rancho Santa Fe. Roxy's team restored the old tile and set in Talavera accent tiles, then redid the whole water feature in softer colors that tie into the paving, with a new pump and lights. New tables and pots came in as accent pieces, and the planting, final touches and irrigation setup finished it.
